Professor Thomas E. Johnsen is Professor of Purchasing and Supply Management at Audencia Nantes School of Management (France) and Head of the Research Axis on Organisation & Value Chain Management. He is also Visiting Professor of Supply Chain Management at the University of Southern Denmark (Denmark). He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management and serves on the advisory board of Aperitas, a Danish start-up company offering a sustainable supply chain management platform. He is a former Professor at Jönköping International Business School (Sweden). He is also a former academic in Purchasing and Supply Management at the University of Bath (UK) and at the Centre for Research in Strategic Purchasing and Supply (CRiSPS). He has been an executive board member of the International Purchasing & Supply Education & Research Association (IPSERA) and was Chair of the IPSERA 2013 conference at Audencia. His recent publications have appeared in leading international journals. He has also authored a book, with co-authors M. Howard and J. Miemczyk, entitled Purchasing and Supply Chain Management: a Sustainability Perspective was published by Routledge in April 2014.
