Professor Frank E. Parcells has more than 45 years of experience, starting out a 15-year career in commercial broadcasting, and then moving into academia where he specializes in Communication. He is currently Professor of Communication at Austin Peay State University (United States) and Chair of Mass Communication at Tennessee Communication Association (United States). He is also Professor Emeritus at Eastern Illinois University (United States). He has received several honors and awards that include: Phi Kappa Phi from The National Honor Society; the President’s Award from Nashville International Association of Business Communicators; the ADDY Award, Madison; and Seven Faculty Excellence Awards from Eastern Illinois University. He also served on the Executive Board of Nashville International Association of Business Communicators for more than 10 years where he held the position as Executive Vice-President. He holds membership in several associations relating to Communication that include the Nashville Chapter of American Advertising Federation, the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, and the Broadcast Education Association. He holds a Ph.D. in Communication from Southern Illinois University (United States).
