Professor David Kingsbury has more than 35 years of experience in Academia and Vocational Technical Education. He is currently Professor Emeritus in Technological Studies at Bemidji State University (United States) and is a Fulbright Senior Specialist listed with the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES). As the Executive Director for Corporate and Educational Relations at Bemidji State University, he designed and implemented an articulation process and program for Universities and Technical colleges that allowed block transfers of credits to create the Minnesota model for the Bachelors of applied Science degree (BAS). He has also directed training and development projects in Korea, Russia, Canada, and Turkey. He was President of the Minnesota State Advisory Council on Vocational and Technical Education (United States). In 2006 Professor Kingsbury was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Minnesota Council for Continuing Education and Customized Training. Professor Kingsbury also published chapters in two textbooks, “The Handbook of Vocational Special Needs” edited by Dr. Gary Meers and “Vocational Special Needs” by Michelle Donnelly Sarkees & John Scott second edition.
Scope of Expertise: Strategic planning, organizational strengthening, design implementation and evaluation of training for productivity enhancement, higher education articulation process development and quality improvement.
