Professor Alizera Rahimi Boroujerdi has more than 30 years of experience in international economics, banking, international trade and finance, as well as in academia. He attained his Ph.D. in international economics from Kansas State University (United States) in 1988. He also has a Bachelor degree in Economics and a Masters degree in Political Economy, both degrees from the California State University (United States). He is currently a Professor at the University of Tehran (Iran). He is the former Chief Director of Research and International Economic Policies at the Ministry of Economic and Financial Affairs (Iran). He is also the former Secretary and Member of the Economic Committee for the Secretariat of the High Council of National Security. Professor Boroujerdi is an expert in the areas of Macroeconomics, International Trade & Finance, as well as issues relating to Integration and Globalization. He has undertaken numerous researches and projects in these areas and has served as Advisors for many years to the Minister of Economic & Finance Ministry, as well as to the Central Bank Governor. He is an economist, writer, poet, counselor and activist, and has published more than 30 books and 50 articles.
