Professor Michael Cox

Professor Michael Cox has 30 years of leadership experience in higher education, government and business organizations. He is currently Professor Emeritus in Leadership and Strategy at the University of Guelph (Canada), as well as a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts in London. He is a world-recognized expert in coaching the leader, leadership and organizations to cultivate a responsible leadership ethos, strategic thinking, professional practice and service for a better planet. Dr. Cox has visited 70 countries worldwide to share his expertise in leading and developing strategic leadership capacity. He has been instrumental in developing distance and residential MA Leadership and MBA programs designed for mid-career professionals, as well as innovative custom leadership programs for academic and institutional partners in North America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Dr. Cox has also served as a senior advisor and project leader with the United Nations Development Program (Market Privatization Program for Poland); Canadian International Development Agency (Canada-China Management Program); Higher Colleges of Technology (United Arab Emirates); and National Board of the United Nations Association.
