Mr. Hedley Rees has more than 35 years of experience in the field of industrial engineering, logistics and supply chain management, and specifically in the industry sector of biomedical, pharmaceutical and life sciences. He is currently the Managing Consultant of PharmaFlow Limited, a UK based consultancy specializing in supply chain management within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. Prior to this, Hedley held senior positions at Bayer UK, British Biotech, Vernalis, Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics and OSI Pharmaceuticals. Hedley serves on the Expert Industry Panel for CPhl Worldwide, the world’s leading pharmaceutical networking event with participation from 140 countries. He also serves in advisory capacity in several leading pharmaceutical, biomedical and life sciences organizations. Hedley is recognized as an expert in Lean Thinking and Production Systems, and he is a zealous advocate of the regulatory modernization frameworks of FDAs 21st Century Modernization and ICH Q8–Q11. He has an honours degree in Engineering from the University of Wales (UK) in 1975, a diploma in Business Management from the University of Glamorgan (UK) in 1983, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Cranfield University (UK) in 1995.
